Does anyone know of a list of foundations, organizations etc. offering research grants on a regular basis in the field of agent-based economics and computational finance also to researchers (in Switzerland, the EU or around the world) not directly affiliated with an academic institution? The Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET, http://ineteconomics.org/grants) would be a good example, in Switzerland there’s also the Kommission für Technologie und Innovation (KTI, http://www.kti.admin.ch/). Any more?
