I've also recommend the Penguin mouse as my vertical mouse of choice at present (although I think it looks more like a dolphin...). The right/left hand function is very ntuitive to use so useful for those who want/need to alternate hands. During follow-up conversations, employees have found it helpful - which is always good to know.

I would be interested in what the rest of the network recommend.

Thanks

Kim

I am interested in sourcing more information on the switch mouse..any other products on the market to assist with the prevention of CTS/RSI are always a plus...

We have tried a ‘Penguin Ambidextrous Vertical Mouse’ from Posturite which has had some positive feedback (not sure if any others have tried one) there is a Central 'bow-tie' switch allowing for easy transition between right and left handed use and it comes wired/wireless in three sizes..you can find it the little chap on the link below.

There is also a downloadable pdf forA Usability Study Evaluating Qualitative and Quantitative Functionality of Design’ available to add to your research documents.

Kind regards

Hi all

I understand the Switch mouse has replaced the Whale mouse; has anyone had any experience with the Switch mouse?

I am trying to reduce ulnar nerve compression resulting from pinching/gripping the mouse combined with either resting the hand on the ulnar side or extending the little finger and an underlying inflamattory joint condition so am thinking a flat mouse would be the way forward. I used to have great success with the Whale mouse but the usual suppliers who would facilitate a trial no longer supply it.

(I have addressed all the other aspects and also discussed user behaviour/responsibilty).
