Course Outline:

A one-day, hands-on workshop to explore tools that can be used to present information in ways that are not purely textual. Delegates will have plenty of opportunity to practice throughout the day.

Programme includes:

Graphics - exploration, practical work to include manipulating images, creating content, photographic slideshows

Image sound and video search - options and exploration

Sceencasting software - overview, options, exploration

Presentation software -overview, examples, exploration to include speaking avatars, stickynote software, chat facilities

Creating podcasts

Recording video

Other tools

Using your results on social media (twitter / facebook)

Prior knowledge of the subject matter is not required or expected.

Delegates are encouraged to bring along their own images to play with, and if they wish to try out their own cameras or smartphones they are welcome to do so.

NB. This is not Social Media training.
