Dear All,

 

We have a part time job share opportunity (15 hours per week) available for a Librarian: Research and Resources (Band 5 - £21,388  - £27,901 pro-rata).  The post is available for a fixed 2 year contract. The post holder may choose to work either on a 'Monday and Tuesday' or a 'Thursday and Friday;' however, due to the nature of this post, no other working pattern can be considered. Please clearly state your preference in your application.

 

The post holder supports evidence based healthcare, research, clinical audit and continuing professional development through collection development, stock selection and marketing, as well as providing outreach support and evidence based practice training. The Library has a substantial stock budget and follows an ‘electronic first ‘policy for resources. The post holder will also work with the remaining library team to contribute to the day-to-day running of the Library and Information Service.

 

The post is at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, located in sunny and leafy Edgbaston. We are a staff library within an NHS Hospital. Our users range from students on placement (medical, nursing and allied health) to medical staff, to admin support staff.
