Hello, This is a reminder to book by Monday 19th August for "Resource Discovery Services - Beyond the Blurb", a one day conference on Thursday 5th September at the University of Bath. http://www.bath.ac.uk/library/resource-discovery/ The conference will provide a forum for staff from libraries which have implemented an index-based discovery service to exchange experiences, as well as being of interest to staff from libraries that have not yet selected a resource discovery product. The conference will feature five panel sessions, each focussing on a different aspect of resource discovery services and how they impact on library service delivery. Panellists will come from libraries using a range of products (principally EBSCO Discovery Service, Primo and Summon.) The differences between the products will be explored, as well as the approaches taken by different libraries in selecting and implementing the service. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions during the sessions, and to continue discussion during breaks and afterwards.
