Dear Colleagues and Friends, Apologies for cross posting Position Available: Postdoctoral Researcher, Mantle Processes Group, Stanford University The Mantle Processes Group in the Department of Geological & Environmental Sciences at Stanford University is looking for a postdoctoral researcher. Applicants must have a PhD and experience in studying the chemistry, rheology or dynamics of the mantle. The position is available for a year, starting in 2014, with renewal for 1-2 years contingent upon performance and funding. Depending on the project goals of the applicant, techniques that could be utilized include EBSD, microprobe, SIMS, TEM, confocal Raman, tomography, XANES or modeling.
