Museums Galleries Scotland have an event in Edinburgh on 10th September I think and there's been one in Glasgow already.

WARNING. SNIFFY NON-ENGLAND RESPONSE ALERT....

I'm assuming this is Arts Council of England funded as the other three home nations are conspicuous by their absence?

Any approach been made to the other Arts Councils to bring these very useful events across Offa's Dyke/Irish Sea/Hadrian's Wall?

Am happy to help with contacts in Wales.

E

Are you interested in learning more about taking part in the Museums at Night festival and/or the Connect10 competition? Then come along to one of three free Arts Council supported briefing sessions in September 2013.

Find out about the benefits and challenges involved in hosting an after-hours event, the advantages of working together with other venues and what it takes to be a Connect10 winner. Guest speakers include Newcastle Late Shows organiser Bill Griffiths (Bradford), Jerwood Gallery operations manager Paul Homer (London) and artists from this year’s festival.
