dear forumers, can any of you good folk help our friend Justine Huxley from St Ethelberga's centre for peace and reconciliation? Justine has been taking St E's strongly in an environmental direction in recent times, one excellent consequence of which was the final CF climate change and violence workshop there last November. I¸m looking for anything which says: · The environmental crisis is the biggest thing happening on the planet right now · It will have a massive effect on communities, and generate local and international conflicts · Building community resilience is essential · Faith leaders need to be speaking out and galvanising their communities · Faith leaders should be prioritising building relationships and pulling together around this issue · Faith and spirituality have a vital role to play promoting the earth as sacred as a vital part of the solution. If you have a moment to bash out a few lines speaking to any of those points, or to point me towards existing quotes I can use, or other people I can also ask, I¸d be really grateful.
