The Archives and Records Association Preservation and conservation Group
are happy to announce the following training event:
Training day on adhesives and their applications for Conservators and other interested professionals
An exciting opportunity to participate in this training day on the use of adhesives and to see and listen to some of the top practioners in their field.
Delegates will be able to see demonstrations and learn more about the use of acrylic coated tissue for repairing badly damaged parchment, the investigation of the ageing properties of Lascaux on paper and leather, using Klucel G to consolidate and repair mould damaged documents, adhesive choices for coating re - moistenable tissue and looking at the working properties of 3 non - aqueous adhesives in paper conservation.
This training day is a great opportunity for Conservators to meet, learn, network and swap ideas.
This training event is strictly limited to 15 places on a first come first serve basis.
