A UK based clinical trials company is seeking an Interim Head of Biometrics, responsible for the management and direction of their outsourcing division.
Your role will include:
1) Operational management of a team of Statisticians and Programmers
2) Client relationship/development within new and existing clients
3) Oversight and input into bids and proposals
4) Financial responsibility ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget/profit
5) Ensuring the operational structure is fit for the current and future needs of the business
6) Training and development of staff is a key element to this role as well as line management, appraisals etc
7) overall project management and resource planning to ensure key metrics/SLAs are met and exceeded
8) You will be required to input ideas as to the strategic direction of the organisation
Education & Experience:
- Good understanding of GCP and SOPs
- At least MSc statistics (or equiv) with depth and breath of experience in clinical biometrics
- Experience in people management
- Highly skilled in project management and resource planning
- Highly effective working in a client focused environment
- Commercial acumen
- Knowledge of financial management including agreeing budgets (P&Ls), delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual targets
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements e.g. MHRA / FDA
