SENIOR SAS PROGRAMMER
6-MONTH CONTACT

 

Position: Senior SAS Programmer (Full Time)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: NW England/Homebased
Rate: Dependant on experience

 

 

Role

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced SAS programmer to join a large life sciences consultancy as a senior programmer. This is a great opportunity for a SAS programmer with experience in HEOR and Outcomes research/Epidemiology research to contract with one of the largest consultancies in life sciences. The role would require someone who has excellent and up to date SAS knowledge with experience using SAS v9.

 

The role will include responsibilities in data manipulation, analysis and reporting on observational data and health economics. Working on dataset creation tables, figures, listings and graphs will be a key responsibility. Other responsibilities will include program validation/documentation and output verification. Previous experience as a statistician will be beneficial.
 

Requirements

 

·  Relevant programming experience in a clinical development/research/outcomes environment.

 

·  Excellent SAS v9 experience

 

·  Understanding of the drug development lifecycle and market access.

 

· Excellent oral and written communication skill is required for this role as you will be working in a global team.


Education

·    BSc/BA or higher degree in a numeric or scientific discipline
