Hi Alexander,

Can you please explain in a simple practical way? I could not get the method. If I use the MNI symmetrical template and do what  Cyril suggested, will this be the same as your method?

Thanks

Dear Aser,

The devil's in the detail. Try the methods for constructing a symmetrical template (and performing an asymmetry analysis) in the following paper by Didelot et al.:

Good luck,

All the best,

Hi all,

If I want to compare right versus left in the brain, should I use a symmetric template if yes how I can do this or where I find it?

I could manage to reorient different right contrast images or left to be in the opposite side. But I am not sure how to do this in the template. Can you guide me please
