in an article, I read this.

..the regressor was generated by convolving a cannonical hemodynamic response function with a dummy variable that equaled 1 during A epochs for trials in which the early reward option available immediately, equaled -0.5 during decision epochs in which the early reward was available only with a delay, and equaled zero during baseline period.

I don't know what this exactly means, and how make it in the SPM software. Can anyone help me?
