Please find below details of two exciting opportunities to join the team at Leamington Spa’s highly successful Art Gallery & Museum in the Royal Pump Rooms.

Learning and Engagement Officer

£16,830 - £18,453 per annum (pro rata)
18.5 hours per week

You will work with curatorial staff to promote public engagement with the services of the Art Gallery and Museum by organising activities and events which educate and entertain existing visitors and develop new audiences, including hard-to-reach groups within the district.

You will have at least one year’s professional experience in an education or event/activities organiser role in an Art Gallery, Museum, Historic building, School, Arts Centre or similar environment.

Working closely with the curators and gallery staff, you will have high level written and verbal communications skills and be a good team player.

Operations Assistant (Technical)


£16,830 - £18,453 per annum (pro rata)
18.5 hours per week

You will support the Operations Supervisor in the customer-focused, safe and secure operation of the Art Gallery and Museum and the Royal Pump Rooms premises, by leading on the delivery of technical requirements and supervising and supporting the daily work of the gallery team.

You will have at least one year’s experience in a technical/operations role in an Art Gallery, Museum, Historic building, Arts Centre or similar environment, with experience in the safe handling and installation for display of art and museum objects.

Working closely with curators, artists and scholars, you will have a keen eye for detail and be a good team player.
