Dear All,

Can I pick peoples brains - what do people do in their version control
systems regarding draft documents going to committees for approval?

If you have a draft policy (0.4) that is approved without amendment at a
committee but it has to go to another committee for formal approval - do
you call the policy that goes to the next committee 0.4 or 0.5?

0.5 will reflect that you've added a note to the document control table
stating that it has been approved by the initial committee, but 0.4 will
demonstrate to anyone viewing the papers of both committees that the
policy is unchanged in content.

Any thoughts?

Best wishes,

Sarah
