With a heat wave heading up the UK, the best thing you can do is head for
the north and as there are only two days left to register for the BIG Event
- you can't afford to dally.
Join 170 cool and collected STEM engagement professionals and volunteers at
the BIG Event at Glasgow Science Centre next week, 24-26 July.
Keynote speaker: Val Mellon, Assistant Producer, BBC Scotland Children's
Department
Shows: engineering, entertainment, biology, broken bridges and British Sign
Language
Workshops: maths, dinosaurs, cloning, astronomy and risk assessment
And there's a ways a bit of: evaluation, marketing, fund finding, learning
theory and debate
PLUS! improvisation, voice coaching, science clubs, comics, busking,
warm-ups and..cool, cool downs
The conference takes place from lunchtime Wed 24th to teatime Fri 26th July.
