**Who we’re looking for**

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the Society’s social media presence, including running campaigns, managing communities and responding to enquiries. They will also be responsible for training and supporting staff and scientists to use social media effectively.

We are looking for someone with excellent face-to-face and online communication skills who has experience of managing a social media presence for a high-profile organisation. They should be capable of working with others to develop and execute successful social media strategies and of running workshops to share skills for using social media effectively. The role requires a passion for digital media and would suit someone with an interest in science and the work of the Society.
