Song

come lie with me in the sun in the sand

through the turn of the world

in the wet moonlight

under the long arms

of the weeping willow

beside the brook that sings & sings

come lie with me

in the brittle brilliant leaves

all scattered again in the wind

in the winter snow

the deepest, darkest winter snow

come lie with me we’ll make angels

in the coldest winter snow
