Science Engagement Opportunity at National Museums Scotland

Get Energised with the ScottishPower Foundation

 

National Museums Scotland is looking for an experienced science engagement content developer to deliver an innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) programme for senior secondary pupils.

Get Energised with the ScottishPower Foundation will present pupils with a problem-solving challenge, looking at the theme of Renewable Energies in Scotland. The project will include Challenge Events hosted in the National Museum of Scotland over National Science and Engineering Week 14- 23 March 2014. We will also carry out satellite events based at two of our other sites across Scotland – the National Museum of Rural Life in East Kilbride and the National Museum of Flight in East Lothian. We are looking for a specialist to develop the content of the ‘challenge’ days, and to write accompanying resources.
