Dear colleagues,
We are putting together a panel for SCMS 2013 in Seattle on Horrific Intertexts and are now short one member. The panel proposes to investigate the usage of references to horror films within horror movies (the numerous films that cite Psycho, remakes, etc.) and other genres (references to horror films in the Coen brothers, David Lynch, etc.). Venues of interest include notions like homage, lineage and parody.
Regards,
David Roche
Professor of film studies at the DEMA, University Toulouse Le Mirail—Toulouse 2
