In response to some questions I've received - proposals from agencies
are fine, but we will be very strict about buzzing the 'no sales
pitches' klaxon! In general we find people are keen to hear about
projects from the museum side, including what didn't go to plan and
the impact on the organisation over the longer term.

Projects discussed don't have to be based in the UK, and they don't
have to be about the latest buzzword - my key consideration for the
day is that our audience will leave with actionable insights and the
benefit of your 'warts and all' analysis of participatory projects.

We've had a few suggestions or questions about shorter papers, so if
you think your proposal makes more sense as a shorter paper, just tell
us what length you think suits it and we'll take that into
consideration.

You've got until midnight BST tonight to get proposals in so get writing!

Cheers, Mia
(As Chair, UKMW13 Programme Committee)
