italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Dear all,

A new issue of ‘ReadingItaly’, the Italian Studies Postgraduate Forum of the University of Reading (http://readingitaly.wordpress.com), is online.
This number is entitled 'Boundaries' and is dedicated to migrant literature and the legacy of postcolonial Italy. Simone Brioni (University of Warwick) is interviewed by Ellen Davis Walker (University of Cambridge) on his documentary Aulò. Roma postcoloniale. Chiara Giuliani (University of St Andrews) presents her research on the representation of space in migrant literature, with a special focus on the city of Rome. Daniele Comberiati reasons on national identity and the representation of otherness in migrant and postocolonial works. Finally, in a vast and comprehensive article, Fulvio Pezzarossa (University of Bologna) analyses the results of the most recent Italian migrant writings.

Best wishes,

Paolo Ghirardini
