Milton Keynes Archaeology Day, Saturday November 9th 2013

This popular free open day and conference returns.  Featuring stands, displays and film showings by local societies, museums and the Portable Antiquities Service.  Held 10am to 4pm at Milton Keynes Central Library, Silbury Boulevard, Milton Keynes.  Confirmed speakers include Cecily Cropper on Forensic Archaeology and there will also be a 'hands-on' archaeology workshop for young people. Subject: Deadline for Briefing 132 (Sept/Oct)

The next issue of Briefing is almost due. This is the CBA's listing of fieldwork, conferences, notices and other events published in British Archaeology magazine every two months and online at www.britisharchaeology.org/briefing 
Events are also searchable by type, location and date through the Training Online Resource Centre www.torc.org.uk 
To encourage wider access to information, excavation and non-commercial events advertising in CBA Briefing is free of charge.
Tell us about your archaeological events by 9pm Wednesday 3 July and we'll include them in CBA Briefing. Please send details of events via email to [log in to unmask]
We prefer to receive plain text in the main body of an email, remember to include:
* event title
* date(s)
* summary information (no more than 200 words, text is likely to be edited for publication)
* contact details (name, postal address, phone, email, website... whatever is applicable!) 
The next issue of British Archaeology magazine (no 132, Sept/Oct) will be on sale from Friday 9 August.

If you have submitted an event for the Festival of Archaeology (13 - 28 July) it will appear on the Festival website www.archaeologyfestival.org.uk - we do not include these events in Briefing.
