Hello everyone, Do you (or your Museums colleagues) have a discard policy for finds? Have you dumped a lot of unnecessary Roman tile from your Museum collections somewhere? Do you recommend that fieldwalking groups discard some of the material before they bring a representative sample to the Museum for archiving? If you do either of these things, where do you recommend the finds are dumped? Back in the field they came from? Over the county boundary? ;-) Is there any English Heritage guidance on this?
