GIS Officer Contract Start ASAP Scotland Our Client is looking to appoint a GIS Officer for an immediate start. The appointed candidate will be part of our Clients IS team which has a wide remit including GIS, reporting, IT support and development. In this role you will support the provision of all elements of an effective GIS and data management support service including mapping and data services, corporate system support and development. This will involve preparing map and attribute information and a considerable amount of digitising and quality checking. In addition you will provide ad hoc reports in response to internal and external requests for mapping data. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: • Degree or equivalent experience in GIS or related discipline. • In depth knowledge and experience of using ESRI ArcGIS. • Good written and oral skills. • Articulate with excellent interpersonal skills.
