It is a little under a week until the abstract submission deadline for the 125^th Anniversay Annual Meeting of the Geological Society of America meeting in Denver.

 

I would like to once again invite you to consider submitting an abstract to topical session T221: The Development, Application, and Value of Phase Diagrams for Understanding High-Temperature Crustal and Upper Mantle Rocks.

 

The session will be very broad based with contributions from those using and developing phase diagrams in igneous, metamorphic and hydrothermal systems, as well as their intrinsic value in teaching and understanding rocks. Invited speakers include Dave Pattison (U. Calgary), David Hirsch (Western Washington) and Alan Whittington (Missouri).
