Hello, I have changed the New Experiment button in the Experiments --> Experiments dialog in the Experiments tab so that hopefully it behaves better now, in the sense of doing something useful. It will create and experiment and a spectrum and lets you link to a data file or not. I have also added a Clone Experiment button in case that is useful. That is a "shallow" clone in that it copies the experiment, the experiment type and the spectrum but not much else (in particular not the peakLists). Wayne
