Hi Nukri - are you still in Hawaii;) ..is the surf really as good as Bournemouth...? 

For the rest of the BB - Gwyndaf is alive and well and is now principle scientist for the recently funded VMX project at Diamond which will build a submicron variable focus endstation called VMXm and a dedicated in-situ diffraction endstation called VMXi. The latter VMXi is being led by Thomas Sorensen.

I may as well take this opportunity to encourage everyone to come to the Diamond user meeting in September where you can find out more about VMX and everything else at Diamond! - the annual MX user workshop has become a great 1.5 day meeting and I would encourage people to come along as there is a great mix of methods, science and what's new ...with the added advantage that you get people going through how they solved that impossible structure!
