Yorkshire and Humber Archive Learning Networking Group 10.30 - 15.00 Wednesday July 30th, Hull History Centre Learning and Audience Development activities within Archives have increased in number and profile considerably over the past few years and we've also begun to shout a bit louder about what we've always been doing well. Its getting harder to find the money for days out of the office for training events but the need to network, share ideas and best practise and develop new skills is as prevalent as ever. We want to create a group and programme (with the help of ARA's Education and Learning Section) which was a support to those working in this area, free to participants, sustainable (low cost to run) and could tour the region. Please join us for our first ever meeting; 10.30 - 10.45 Arrival and Refreshments 10.45 - 11.15 Introductions, Hull History Centre 11.15 - 12.00 Presentation from ARA and National Archives: 'Explore your Archives' Lunch (participants own) 13.00 - 14.00 Discussion: Format of the Group 14.00 - 15.00 'Explore Your Archives' Planning session * Teas and Coffees will be provided, but please note that lunch will not be. * To book you place or for more details about getting to the Hull History Centre, please call 01482 317509 or email [log in to unmask] Thank you, Esther Esther Hallberg Education Officer Hull History Centre Worship Street Hull HU2 8BG 01482-317509 historycentre.org.uk @hullhistorynews ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This transmission is intended for the named addressee(s) only.
