The job is to provide statistical support to the studies in the Section for Recovery, and to develop appropriate data management and analysis strategies in collaboration with the study team. Expertise in SPSS and a working knowledge of Microsoft Access are essential to the role. Excellent written, verbal and organisation skills, knowledge of English, and team player. Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. Work experience, in a statistical role. Experience of working in a clinical trials unit or in academic research environment.

Ability to handle multiple projects, and to manage timelines and work to strict deadlines. Experience with statistical software such as STATA/SAS is desirable.

Full time hours are 35 hours per week, £31,331 - 37,382 per annum, plus £2,323 London allowance per annum (pro-rata for part-timers). The College operates PensionsPlus by which individuals increase their take home pay by reducing their NI contributions.
