I am planning to take a specialist course on genetic statistics this Autumn and before starting it I would like to familiarize myself with the key concepts of Genetics. I am looking for a good primer on this subject. Ideally it should have been written having in mind statisticians or post-graduate students of Statistics.
Can anyone suggest me a suitable text(s)?
