Challenges in the design and analysis of studies evaluating imaging modalities
Incorporating measurements from imaging equipment into research studies and clinical evaluation of new imaging modalities
can be challenging. This day brings together statisticians, clinicians and physicists working in this area who will address these challenges by sharing their experiences and knowledge on this subject.
What can you expect?
-
The
programme will cover topics ranging from design and analysis of imaging studies including; multi-factorial datasets, choosing meaningful outcome measures and assessing the reliability of output from equipment
-
Speakers, including statisticians, clinicians and physicists will share their expertise and knowledge on imaging in research
-
Networking opportunities will provide the opportunity to interact with imaging experts to hear their views on the future of imaging research
Intended participants
-
NIHR statisticians or epidemiologists part or fully funded by an NIHR initiative (unit or project grant)
-
Clinicians and researchers with a strong interest in methodological and statistical challenges
We welcome all delegates to present their research in this area via a virtual poster session. Each poster should fit one side of A4 (landscape or portrait).
I encourage you to register for this event using the links at the top of this page. With the quality of confirmed speakers and the relevant topics being discussed, this is a must-attend event for statisticians involved in imaging research.
