Research Fellow in Statistics and Primary Care Epidemiology St. George's, University of London Community Health Sciences Reference: 514-13 Closing Date: Tuesday 27 August 2013 Interview Date: Thursday 19 September 2013 Salary: £37,382 to £44,607 Plus London Allowance of £2,826 Full time, fixed term for 3 years We have an exciting opportunity for a medical statistician to join a primary care research team using large primary care databases including CPRD and THIN. The post-holder will lead analysis on projects with these databases including a study on the health of people with learning disability. You will join an experienced multi-disciplinary team with a strong publication and grant record in primary care epidemiology. You should have an MSc in statistics and at least three years’ experience of analysis of primary care or similar large healthcare databases. Database management and programming experience in SAS, or similar software, is essential as well as skills in complex statistical analysis using a range of techniques.
