ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - TECHNOLOGY ENHANCED LEARNING Centre for Learning and Academic Development (CLAD) and Learning Spaces An exciting opportunity has arising within the University of Birmingham's Centre for Learning and Academic Development (CLAD) and Learning Spaces. A member of the Centre's Senior Management Team who collectively support the development of people, pedagogy, space and technology in the delivery of educational enhancement, the post holder will be responsible for the University's virtual learning environment and the on-going development, support and use of technology in support of learning. The role will lead the strategic development of eLearning within the University, working closely with senior staff to create a shared vision for technology enhanced learning within the institution and its role in supporting alternative modes of delivery. It will also include responsibility for the management, administration, on-going support and development of centrally supported learning technologies, ensuring that the University gets the best return on its investment through the provision of advice and guidance to academic and administrative staff.
