The Faculty of Humanities of Leiden University invites applicants for the position of a:
Lecturer in Russian Studies (UD) (19 hours per week)

The BA in Russian Studies and the MA in Russian and Eurasian Studies target the study of the Russian Federation in its historical and contemporary context. The programme consists of two main elements: language and culture, and history, politics and economy. The BA is mostly taught and examined in Dutch, the MA exclusively in English.

Terms of Employment
The appointment is for 19 hours per week in temporary employment for three years. The position corresponds to the position of (Universitair) Docent in the University system of job profiles (UFO).
The salary is in accordance with the collective salary agreement of the Association of Dutch universities (CAO) and depending on qualifications and experience. The salary will be between the gross minimum of €2.427,- (scale 10) and gross maximum of €4.462,- (scale 11) for a full working week. Leiden University also offers an annual holiday premium of 8% and an end-of-year premium of 8,3%. The successful candidate is expected to commence employment on 1 September 2013.
