Hello Jo,

Just to offer my thoughts, all of the advice generated is great and relevant.

I would suggest a focus to the employees increasing the frequency of periodic exposure to moving outside of the car when they are undertaking periods of car based work. Although a poor posture is being adopted if avoidance of prolonged adoption of it is achieved the risks to MSK injuries should be reduced. Thus in your presentation obtaining user awareness of the risks and their responsibilities to taking appropriate actions is key.

James.

Hi Jo

There is a "working from your car" page on the Loughborough Uni site that might be of help, although not a presentation.

Kind Regds

Good afternoon all

I was wondering if anyone has a presentation that they would be happy to share with me regarding the best ergonomic way to use your car as an interim office.

I appreciate that this is never good practice and despite H&S listing a few ‘do’s and don’ts’  our sales force team continue to do this in between ‘visits’ which as you can imagine increases musculoskeletal disorders.

Rather than reinvent the wheel I am hoping that someone may have a presentation on the do’s and don’ts that I could use?

Any help/signposting would be gratefully received!

Kind Regards

Jo
