The event will be held on the 10th of September, the day prior to the beginning of the MedSoc Annual Conference. The Early Career Researcher event will give you the opportunity to hear from leading experts in medical sociology on how to develop a successful career, and to network with other early career researchers. The programme for this year’s event is: 13.00-14.00: Lunch and Registration 14.00-15.00: Professor Ellen Annandale: “A Career in Medical Sociology” 15.20-16.20: Professor Sarah Nettleton: “Applying for Grants” 16.20-16.40: Break 16.40-17.40: Professor David Hughes: “Getting published” The cost of the event is *£10 for *BSA members, or *£25 *for non-members. Please note that *one night’s* *accommodation will be provided free of charge* by the BSA MedSoc Study group.
