The Liverpool Screen School at Liverpool John Moores University seeks to appoint a Programme Leader in Film Studies with relevant leadership and management experience to contribute to our successful BA programme and to post-graduate developments.
Film Studies at the Liverpool Screen School currently gives students the opportunity to study American, European and World cinema from historical and critical perspectives as well as learning how to critique and interpret film. Whilst an academic programme, the course offers the option of practical experience in film-making and enables students to create a portfolio of work including fiction and documentary. You will lead a team of staff and be a member of the School’s management team. Experience in teaching Film Studies at university level is essential and there is an expectation to contribute to research within the programme and across the School.
