Dear All
It seems as if this problem is spreading across the NHS, as I had it for about a fortnight (and was accessing HDAS via Myathens as a fix) before asking the lists for help and getting this workaround from the
very helpful Heather Buckley:

This is really very odd because we are not NHS and therefore not on N3, and for me it’s all *exactly* the same as always.
In fact I’m sitting here wondering what everybody’s talking about!
The home screen is in the same place, looks the same, there are no messages on it, and I have got as far as doing a short sample search with no trouble at all.

Christine

Exactly Helen.
I delivered a training session featuring Evidence Search for 15 paediatric doctors on Friday afternoon.
Unfortunately, they won’t be able to find it today!
And I can’t find it either so I can’t forewarn them either.
Best regards
Jan

Tried the “Why has the sign in screen changed?” link on
www.evidence.nhs.uk (now showing as NICE advanced records management system) and it brings up a “page not found” message for the “explanation” page allegedly at
http://www.evidence.nhs.uk/help-and-support/changes-to-sign-in
https://www.evidence.nhs.uk/nhs-evidence-content/journals-and-databases
(WITH the https) is working, but the old www version is also bringing up a “page not found” message.
I am really not impressed at a) things not working and b) the lack of consultation or warning.
Many of our users will be back for the first day after half-term breaks and needing to get on with things urgently.
