As long as the Wiki itself is referenced properly, it can spring board 
researchers, or just the curious, off to the quotable, peer evaluated, 
published stuff.

The really nice thing aboot Wikipedia is not what you can or can?t 
reference from it, but where it can lead you to.
You might not want to reference what it says, but it?s not uncommon to use 
it as a launch platform from which to go boldly forth and find other stuff 
which is ?reference-able?

Ha ha! Good point Ed. No lecturer at Solent would let you reference the 
Wikipedia page, even if it were written by such luminaries as the LDHEN 
list!

My recollection was that it was pretty straightforward though

Although it raises interesting questions about whether you could reference 
the page in a journal article
