Hi Ed (woohoo – how does one become a Wikipedia writer or editor? Or is it a www.lmgtfy.com?), hi Andrew,

Seems a good idea to challenge that culture (but anyway, one doesn’t need to let a whole argument rest on what the Wiki says) – but actually, it would still be really valuable for promotion and discussion, wouldn’t it?

Ha ha! Good point Ed. No lecturer at Solent would let you reference the Wikipedia page, even if it were written by such luminaries as the LDHEN list!

I am

But am a bit out of practice

My recollection was that it was pretty straightforward though

Although it raises interesting questions about whether you could reference the page in a journal article

Good idea

Is anyone in the group already registered as a Wikipedia writer or editor? I have a feeling it's not an entirely straightforward process.
