Pedare 2013 (Centre for Pedagogic Arts-based Research) Expanding Horizons of Teaching and Learning; Developing New and Innovative Practices WHERE: The Exchange, Tremough Campus, Falmouth University, Cornwall, UK WHEN: Thursday 12th September 2013. 9am – 5pm WHAT: The theme will be the impact of the changing HE environment on current practice in arts-based subjects with reference to the following key drivers: • Increase in Open Education Resources • Changes to Education Technology • Desire for Multidisciplinary Working • Emphasis on Curriculum Co-creation: students as colleagues • Need to Innovate and find New Approaches to Encourage Creativity • Diversity in the Classroom The conference will be experiential, interactive and participatory (so not a traditional research conference) and the audience will be comprised of academics, practitioners and education specialists from around the world.
