The Career Development Group (London and South East Divisions) is organising a free visit to The Royal College of Surgeons on Tuesday 16th July 2013 at 2pm.

The visit will include a tour of the Grade II* listed RCS library (designed by Charles Barry, who also designed the Houses of Parliament), to learn about the unique ACE designated library, archives and museum collections. The tour will be followed by a talk about how the college has developed its online resources to meet the needs of its geographically dispersed membership, in particular the Current Awareness Service bulletins<http://www.rcseng.ac.uk/library/online-resources/cas>, produced monthly for various surgical specialties.

This event is open to everyone and will be especially relevant to those interested in electronic resources or to those undertaking CILIP qualifications to understand the wider professional context.
