STATISTICIAN

 

Salary £26,502 - £30,201 per annum

 

Museums Galleries Scotland is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead on statistical analysis on the impact of the museum sector in Scotland.  This is an exciting opportunity to develop internal statistical functions and broker joint data collection with key stakeholders.  You will have research and analytical skills, and an understanding of the policy context in Scotland.  You will be joining the Research and Development Team with the opportunity to link research activity to developing the sector.

 

Your responsibilities will include building the monitoring and evaluation processes for the National Strategy, analysis of economic impact data on the sector and Local Authority cultural departments.  This post provides an exciting opportunity to deliver and develop the evidence base and demonstrate the impact of Scotland’s museums.  You should be highly organised with good interpersonal, decision-making and project management skills.
