Dear Colleagues,
The next meeting of the Jisc Learning and Teaching Practice Experts Group will be taking place on Wednesday 10th July from 10:30 - 16:00 at The Mercure Holland Hotel, Bristol.

We are delighted to say that this will be the 29th meeting of this valued group. The agenda for the meeting is attached and also available from http://www.jisc.ac.uk/whatwedo/programmes/elearningpedagogy/elearningexperts/july13.aspx
together with the online booking form. Places are limited at this meeting, so please register as soon as possible. Closing date for registrations is Thursday 27th June.

As always we have an exciting and packed agenda. We will be starting the meeting with an interactive session around the change management approaches being implemented from the Changing the Learning Landscapes Programme<http://www.lfhe.ac.uk/en/programmes-events/your-university/cll/index.cfm> from Sarah Davies.

This will be followed by Simon Walker, University of Greenwich, and representatives from the National Student Change Agent network<http://www.hei-flyers.org/wordpress/> discussing their developing community around students as changes agents and inviting Experts to join this exciting initiative.

After lunch we are delighted to have Helen Beetham, Synthesis consultant for the Jisc Developing Digital Literacies Programme (http://bit.ly/ddl-prog) joining us, who will be inviting Experts to review the staff development resources being produced by this programme for relevance in supporting staff and students with developing their digital literacies in your own institutions.

This will be followed by the popular Members Showcase to highlight innovative work which members are undertaking. The session will run as three 20 minute roundtable discussions run twice, offering members the opportunity of attending two of the three sessions. James Clay from Gloucestershire College will be running one of the three showcase sessions on innovative staff development approaches. We have two remaining sessions available for members to showcase their work - if you are interested in presenting at this meeting, please email Sarah Knight ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) with a short synopsis of your session by Friday 14th June.

JISC will cover the travel and subsistence expenses of members attending meetings, up to the value of £150 on receipt of a completed expenses claim form and original receipts.
Please note the date for the remaining 2013 meeting is:

*                     Thursday 17 October  2013  -  Maple House, Birmingham
We look forward to welcoming you to this meeting and to some stimulating discussion.
Best regards,
Sarah
