Take a look @ Radcliffe + Newnes (2005) Welcome to the future of liberal family therapy working Clinical Psychology 47, 33-35 We suggested encouraging families to do what they do anyway - phone a friend, go on-line and have others view sessions (but during therapy) so the world could see what was going on. Psy is way behind all this now thanks to You-tube, TV therapy, mobile fone aps, Twitter etc. A more interesting approach might be to give families a live feed of therapists discussing the original referral C

Subject: [COMMUNITYPSYCHUK] Research participants needed for online questionnaire!

Dear colleagues,

I am looking for participants to take an online questionnaire. The process should take no longer than 20 minutes (including reading the associated documents). The questionnaire is part of an exciting new project looking at how technology might be used to provide a new dimension to the delivery and access of psychological services for children, young people and their families.

The questionnaire has been through several review and shredding processes, and at this stage the questionnaire is purposefully broad. In this FIRST STAGE we are looking for GENERAL views on specific technologies and examples of their uses. We'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has taken part so far, your views are invaluable and have been gratefully received!

I am particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has or may have contact with Educational and Child Psychologists (EPs) in the past, present or future as well as EPs and TEPs themselves. As such, participants may come from a whole range of groups including:

Educational Psychologists (including trainees)
Parents (with children aged 0-19 years or those who care for a young person up to 25 years old)
Paediatric or school nurses
Early Years Practitioners
GPs
Social workers
Education Welfare Officers
Youth Workers
YOT Workers
Police Officers
Clinical Psychologists
Psychiatrists

…and basically anyone who works with children and young people between the ages of 0-19 years old! You may have absolutely no interest in or understanding of technology or you might be a technical buff – it doesn’t matter. The only limitation is that all participants must be from within the UK (or accessed/delivered such services from within the UK) for purposes of validity and reliability. If this sounds like you or someone you know, your support in completing the questionnaire will be much appreciated. If this does not sound like you, but you think you might know someone who this might be relevant to, then please do pass this information on.

To take the questionnaire and access all the relevant documentation please visit: www.theartslab.co.uk/research. If you have any difficulties with accessing/completing the questionnaire, or any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at [log in to unmask] Also, if you or someone you know would prefer to complete the questionnaire in paper form, please let us know.

Thank you in advance for your support.

All the best
Nick
