Much of his work confronts modern scientific and technological ideas and ideals, and explores how the use of design can challenge, exploit and communicate these. With work spanning various scales and media, Stevenson-Keating creates designed objects, installations and experiences to examine science and technology's influence on, and links with, society, the economy and philosophy, with an ever present humorous undertone. Recent projects have included a desktop quantum physics machine to view your parallel lives, a DIY particle accelerator, and new ways to print electrical circuits. www.pstevensonkeating.co.uk The Digital Design Drop-in is a monthly event exploring intersections of arts and technology, inviting artists to show work in the V&A galleries in a pop-up studio format and offering visitors opportunities to meet the artists and discuss new work. http://www.vam.ac.uk/whatson/event/2177/digital-design-drop-in-3447/ David Bowie is Until 11 August 2013 at V&A South Kensington In Partnership with Gucci Sound Experience by Sennheiser Find out more www.vam.ac.uk/davidbowieis LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE ON THE DAY See the exhibition for free if you join as a V&A Member www.vam.ac.uk/members War Games 25 May 2013 – 9 March 2014 at V&A Museum of Childhood Admission free Keep in touch Sign up for V&A e-newsletters www.vam.ac.uk/signup Become a fan on Facebook.com/VictoriaandAlbertMuseum ( http://www.facebook.com/VictoriaandAlbertMuseum ) Follow us on Twitter.com/V_and_A ( http://www.twitter.com/V_and_A ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The information contained in this message is confidential and intended only for the individual named above.
