There is also a Bulk Group Manager tool from Blackboard, which I believe is only available on a limited field trial at the moment, and isn’t part of the core product yet; is anyone on that trial?  It would be interesting to know what it does, and when we can have it…

Hi Gary

The batch group tool is a building block that was developed by the University of York.

I have tested this on SP11 and it works without problems. If you contact me off list I can get a copy of the block to you.

Best wishes

Pete

Hi – we have a need that could be addressed by the Batch Allocate Group tool.

However I cannot find it on our system so wondering if it is actually a building block that you need to install separately and if so where can I find it?

We have 9.1 sp 8 on our live server and sp12 on a staging server ahead of a forthcoming upgrade.
