BARS members may like to know that the new Friends of Coleridge website that has just gone live (www.friendsofcoleridge.com). Much expanded, it is packed with new material about Coleridge, photographs and period engravings, and revised contact details for the officers and committee. Events from the various stages in Coleridge's life are recounted in passages from the poet's own letters and prose writings, and there is a useful timeline. There is also a section on Coleridge's character and appearance, as recollected by writers of his time. A representative selection of his poems has also been added, with introductory notes by Graham Davidson. I have just taken over as Honorary Secretary from Shirley Watters.
