Nottinghamshire Archives is based in a busy, purpose-built repository in the centre of the cosmopolitan city of Nottingham. We require an enthusiastic conservator with a degree (or equivalent) in archive conservation to undertake the full range of preservation and conservation work on the county’s archives during a period of maternity leave. The post comes at a time when the Archives are planning an extension and you will be expected to assist in the preparatory work for this. Experience of working in a busy archive service is desirable. An ability to work on one’s own and to meet deadlines is essential.
